ZapRoute Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 30, 2026
ZapRoute ("the App") is operated by Emanuel Pools, Corp., 9956 Brickhill Dr, Boca Raton, FL 33428, United States ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the App collects, why, and what we do with it.
What we collect
Account information. Your name, email address, preferred language, and role in your company (technician, supervisor, office, owner). This is provided by your company when your account is created and is used to sign you in and show you the right screens.
Service photos. The App requires a photo as proof of each pool service visit. Photos you take are uploaded to our servers and attached to the visit record. Photos are analyzed automatically (including by an AI service) to classify the type of service shown and to detect duplicated or altered images.
Location (optional). With your permission, the App uses your device's precise location to confirm presence at the serviced pool and to measure route mileage and fuel cost. Location is captured only while you use the App to register a visit or run a route. The App works without location permission; visits are then recorded without a presence stamp.
Operational data. Route, visit, and service records you create in the App (service types, times, notes, salt bags, filter cleanings, repair orders), which are the core function of the service.
We do not collect advertising identifiers, we do not use advertising or third-party analytics SDKs, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
How we use it
We use the information above solely to operate the service: showing daily routes, storing proof of service, generating reports for your company, sending operational emails (for example, password reset or service notices), and keeping accounts secure. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of infrastructure providers to run the App, acting on our instructions: Supabase (database, authentication, and photo storage), Google Cloud (application hosting and maps/routing), Anthropic (automated photo classification), and Resend (transactional email). Each receives only the data needed to perform its function.
Sharing within your company
The App is a business tool. Your visits, photos, and route data are visible to authorized members of your company (such as office staff and the owner) according to their role. Revenue and billing values are never shown to technician or field-supervisor roles.
Data retention and deletion
Service records and photos are retained while your company's account is active, as they form your company's service history. To request deletion of your personal data or your account, email us at the address below; we will respond within 30 days. If your company ends its subscription, its data is deleted upon request.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Access to production data is restricted by role-based rules at the database level (row-level security), and passwords are handled by our authentication provider — we never see or store them in plain text.
Children
The App is a professional tool for pool service businesses and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update this page and the effective date above.
